Paulownia Enegry (Tomentosa x Elongata x Fortunei hybrid)

Paulownia Energy is a hybrid of the three Paulownia species Fortchuna, Felted and Elongated of the Paulowniaceae family. The hybrid has been bred under laboratory conditions in order to inherit the best qualities of the three Paulownia species.

Description

• Height: up to 30 m.
• Trunk: straight up to 2 meters in diameter, light brown bark.
• Crown: conical.
• Leaves: broad up to 75 cm in diameter in young trees up to 3 years, narrower in older trees, oval-serrated, up to 35 cm. The upper surface is glabrous, the upper surface is pubescent, then becomes sparsely pubescent.

Paulownia Energy is the most appropriate hybrid for corporate timber. Its growth rate in width and height is, on average, 15-25% higher than popular species and hybrids on the market, allowing it to recover investment costs more quickly.

Paulownia Energy is a hybrid that combines the properties of the three Paulownia species Fortuna, Felted and Elongata. Resistant to low temperatures down to -27°C (short life span) and hardy to high temperatures up to 45-50° C, which will favor this hybrid in the southern regions of Russia and the Northern Caucasus. Huge leaves up to 75 centimeters in diameter create good shade on sunny days.

The average life span of the root system is about 100 years.

Paulownia Energy should be planted in plains and mountain valleys, in moorland areas not exceeding 2000 m in altitude. In Russia, the Black Sea coast, Adygea, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Kalmykia, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia, Chechnya, Krasnodar and Stavropol regions, Astrakhan, Volgograd and Rostov regions) and the Republic of Crimea are favorable for growing. It is also available in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Central Asia.
