Product features:Product description
Energy is a hybrid that combines the properties of three Paulownia varieties: Elongate, Tomentosa and Fortunia. Its resistance to low temperatures of up to -27° C and its tolerance to high temperatures of up to 45° C will benefit the cultivation of this hybrid in southern regions and in winter temperatures of up to -27° C. Huge leaves up to 70 centimeters in diameter will provide good shade on sunny days.
The average life span of a Paulownia Energy root system is approximately 100 years.
It is recommended that the field where Paulownia is to be planted be protected from rodents, birds, livestock and other biological factors.
Paulowia is not very demanding in terms of soil type. All that is required is that the soil has an easy entrance for water and air and does not contain clay. A layer of soil of at least one and a half meters is necessary. Stones, even large ones, are not a problem. Paulownia does not tolerate high groundwater levels. This level should not exceed one and a half meters in depth.
Young plants should be regularly and adequately irrigated. Drip irrigation for the first two years is the best option, as the plants grow exceptionally fast during this period.
The area chosen for planting should be free of weeds.
